Father of a deceased teacher has come up with the present writ petition claiming family pension. Daughter of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher working in a Government aided school who died-inharness on 5th April, 2023. After death of daughter payment order was issued vide memo dated 25th March, 2025 thereby releasing admissible death gratuity and other benefits to the petitioner. Now petitioner claims family pension due to death of his daughter.

There is no provision under the relevant rules to release family pension to the father of a deceased teacher.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. 5.

Writ petition stands dismissed.
