... ... for the State Petitioner submits couple was residing in Gujrat when the victim housewife committed suicide. The principal accused i.e. the husband is on regular bail. Petitioners are the in-laws of the victim housewife. They pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Incident occurred in Gujrat where the couple was residing. Petitioners are the inlaws of the victim housewife. Keeping in mind the extent of complicity of the petitioners in the crime and as the principal accused is on regular bail, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the accused/petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 and they shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
