The petitioner made application for obtaining educational loan under P.M. Vidya Lakshmi Common Education Loan Scheme before the Indian Bank. 2.

As no communication has been made by the Bank as regards the fate of the loan application, the instant writ petition has been filed.

Learned advocate representing the State Bank of India has received instruction from the Bank Manager signed on 3rd September, 2025 mentioning that the application of the petitioner for student's loan stood rejected (i) as the petitioner obtained very poor marks in her previous examination, (ii) the co-applicant that is the father of the petitioner has very poor CIBIL score (459); the benchmark for providing loan should contain CIBIL score should more than 685 and (iii) the co-applicant, the mother, is not employed as declared by the Block Officer, Raipur in her income certificate.

Let a copy of the rejection order be formally communicated to the petitioner for taking further necessary steps in the matter.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is kept with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
