The petitioner being the widow of an approved Assistant Teacher had applied for compassionate appointment. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E), Birbhum, the respondent no. 4 herein, by the order impugned has rejected the said prayer of the petitioner holding that the family income of the deceased teacher is more than the income of a Group-D staff of the Government of West Bengal. That being the finding, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order impugned.

W.P.A. 14076 of 2023 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
