For the Respondent Nos. 7-9 The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the direction of the police authority. Record reflects that the representation was submitted on 17th May, 2024. More than 14 months have passed since such representation was placed before the Officer-in-Charge, Coke-Oven police station along with the superior officers of the police. However, it prima facie seems that no steps were taken as there was dispute which had the flavor of civil dispute.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 7 to 9 appears. She denies and disputes the contentions advanced in the writ petition. Learned advocate submits that the police authority did not interfere considering the nature of the disputes involved.

As none appears for the State, Mr. Raja Ram Banerjee, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is requested to appear for the State

in this matter. His appointment will be regularised by the concerned authority.

I have considered the representation and the time which has lapsed in the meantime.

If the petitioner is faced with any inconvenience, the petitioner will file a fresh representation before the police authorities. The police authorities will only restrict its action so far as law and order issue is concerned. No interference be made by the police authorities in respect of right, title and interest of the property.

With the above observations, the writ petition being W.P.A. 15181 of 2024 is disposed of.
