The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for a direction upon the learned Public Prosecutor-in-charge to supply copies of documents relied upon by the prosecution.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there has been a change of counsels appearing for the petitioner and the present learned counsel has found that several pages were missing in the copies of documents supplied to the petitioner.

In view of the nature of the prayer in the present application, Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned APP who is present in Court and usually appears for the State, is requested to appear on behalf of the State respondents in this matter. His appointment be regularized by the appropriate authority. The petitioner is directed to serve copy of this application along with all annexures thereto upon Mr. Ganguly in course of this day.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the revisional application is allowed. The concerned Public Prosecutor is requested to make over copies of the documents relied upon in the charge-sheet in connection with the Sessions Trial Case No.218 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Howrah to the petitioner within seven days from date.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
