Public Prosecutor Mr. Nirupam Dhali ... ... for the State Heard the learned Advocates appearing for both the parties. We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim lady. Her statement shows that her obscene pictures had been taken by the petitioner and she was blackmailed to come to a spot where she was forcibly raped. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
