Mr. Sanat Kumar Roy Mr. Baidurya Ghosal ..for the petitioner Mr. Vimal Kumar Shahi ..for the State Mr. S. Bhattacharya ..for the private respondent The petitioner alleges that her daughter-in-law has forcefully driven her out from her own house. It appears from the submission made on behalf of the parties that there is a matrimonial suit pending between the private respondent and the son of the petitioner. The son of the petitioner is serving in the Kolkata Police as a Sergeant and the father-in-law is a retired Police Inspector.

Learned advocate for the private respondent submits that the petitioner has voluntarily left the house. It will be open for the petitioner to stay in her own house. The Officer-in-Charge, Regent Park Police Station is directed to ensure that there is no breach of peace. The parties are directed to act strictly in accordance with law

and not commit any illegal act.

The matrimonial dispute between the parties has been referred for mediation by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 11th September, 2024 in C.O. 20648 of 2024.

It will be open for the parties to make all submission before the mediator.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
