An inadvertent error crept into the order passed on 14th June, 2024. In the said order CRR 2276 of 2023 be read as CRR 2276 of 2024.

Also, the name of the petitioner be recorded as Muslima Khatoon @ Muslima Khatun & Ors. instead and place of Muslima Khatgoon @ Muslima Khatun & Ors.

The Department is directed to incorporate the necessary correction in the said order accordingly. This order be treated as part of the order dated 14th June, 2024.

Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners and report submitted by the State are taken on record.

It is submitted by both the parties that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. The statement of the private opposite party/de facto

complainant recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure indicates that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the de facto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that proceeding of the present matter further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 2276 of 2024 is allowed.

The proceeding pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas being GR Case no. 3278 of 2023 arising out of Techno City Police Station Case No.208 of 2023 dated 3rd November, 2023 be quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and be discharged from their bail bonds.

CRAN 1 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly uploaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
