A very short and limited grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition and the relief asked for is for direction upon the State respondents particularly the Superintending Engineer, Panchayat and Rural Development Department RRNMU Bardhaman Circle, Purba Bardhaman/respondent No.3 to consider his representation made on 1st September, 2023, for refund of earnest money in question in view of cancellation of tender in question.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition being WPA 14126 of 2023, is disposed of by directing the Superintending Engineer, Panchayat and Rural Development Department/respondent No.

consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner for refund of the earnest money in question in accordance with law and to take a decision on the aforesaid representation positively within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order.
