WPA 15293 of 2024 (Bikash Naskar vs. State of West Bengal & Ors.) Mr. Sudipta Panda Mr. Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma ... For the State The petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities has submitted a representation on or about 24th May, 2024 with the Officer-in-Charge of the Liluah Police Station.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report which reflects that at the relevant point of time Liluah Police Station case no. 330/24 was registered for investigation on 22nd June, 2024. Subsequently on completion of the investigation final report has been submitted before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

Having considered the fact that the police authorities have already concluded investigation, I am of the view that if the petitioner is aggrieved, the petitioner will ventilate the same by taking out appropriate application under the relevant provisions of law before the jurisdictional Magistrate. Learned Magistrate will assess and ascertain the genuinity of the grievance and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being W.P.A. 15293 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State is taken on record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
