Let Payel Dhar Adikary, the de facto complainant, be added as party respondent to the instant proceedings. Leave is granted to the learned advocate on record for the petitioner to amend the cause title in course of the day. 2.

Let a copy of the writ petition be made over to the learned counsel for Payel Dhar Adikary, the added respondent.

The petitioner seeks limited relief. She only wants the investigation into the FIR No.56/2023 registered by the Netaji Nagar Police Station to be completed as expeditiously as possible.

Counsel for the added respondent submits that the petitioner has filed earlier writ petition No. 1795 of 2023, in which she was asked to appear before the Regional Passport Authority at Kolkata. The order of the Court in

WPA 1795 of 2023 has been confirmed by a Division Bench in MAT 140 of 2023. There is another writ petition filed by the writ petitioner being WPA 12709 of 2023, which is pending before a Coordinate Bench.

Mr. Ansar Mondal, learned counsel for the State submits that the FIR No.56/2023 has been transferred from the Netaji Nagar Police Station to the Security Control Organization, being respondent No.4. A new investigating officer, being respondent No.6, has been appointed and case diary has been transferred.

In that view of the matter, it is ordered that the new investigating officer, being respondent No.6, shall complete the investigation mandatorily and positively within a period of one month from date.

The petitioner as well as the de facto complainant shall extend all necessary cooperation in the aforesaid investigation.

The final report in the matter may be furnished to the petitioner as well as to the de facto complainant. 9.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
