For respondent Nos. 5 & 6 The petitioner is an aspirant for the M.B.B.S. 06.6.2024 (Item No. 5) (AB) course and participated in the NEET (UG) 2024. The petitioner's case is that, the OMR sheet she was provided with in the examination hall was a torn one and though she was assured in the examination hall that she would be provided with a fresh and complete OMR sheet but ultimately she was not provided with the same, as a result she had to give her answers on the torn OMR sheet and in the process she had lost 11⁄2 hours of examination time.

Mr. Abhirup Chakraborty, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 5 & 6 submits that, the result has already been declared and published on June 4, 2024. He further submits, on instruction that, a High Power Committee has been constituted on May 23, 2024 and the case of the petitioner shall be considered by the said High Power Committee and

the necessary information shall be furnished to the petitioner in due course.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of respondent Nos. 5 & 6 as recorded above and since the result has already been declared, there is no scope to interfere with the issue raised in this writ petition. However, on the assurance of the respondent nos. 5 & 6 the case of the petitioner shall be considered by the High Power Committee and the reasoned decision shall be intimated to the petitioner positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above observations and directions, this writ petition being WPA 15021 of 2024 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
