Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has approached this Court as the police authorities pursuant to direction of the learned Magistrate in an application under Section 175(3) of the BNSS did not submit any report. Consequently, the learned Magistrate was in a position to take steps.

Mr. Bose, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that the report was submitted before the learned Magistrate being the learned A.C.J.M, Ranaghat and consequently Ranaghat Police Station case no. 415/2025 dated 02.07.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Thus, the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred is subserved, further pendency of the writ petition, as such in unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 14025 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
