Petitioner approached this Court that in spite of a case being registered under Section 306 of the BNS by Chakdah Police Station, but no recoveries have been effected till date.

Mr. Bose, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that necessary statements have been recorded, local enquiry has been conducted as also one of the domestic help has been kept under surveillance even after recording her statement. For the present notices have been served for production of documents in support of the claim to the present petitioner, as such the investigation of the case is in progress. It is reflected that Chakdah PS Case No. 572/2025 was registered on 06.06.2025.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved relating to the course of investigation, petitioner would ventilate her grievance before the jurisdictional Magistrate after 90 days expires from 06.06.2025. With the aforesaid observations WPA 14032 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report which was submitted by the State be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State as the investigation of the case is in progress. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
