Ms. Faria Hossain Mr. Anand Keshari ...... for the State Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim housewife. She renews her prayer for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including endorsement in the medical papers relating to the history of injury. It appears from the notings in the medical papers petitioner had closed the door when the victim housewife had set her on fire. There are prima facie materials showing the petitioner abetted the suicide of the victim housewife.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and as her prayer for bail was rejected in April,2022 and there is no change in circumstances since then, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. ( Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J. ) ( Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
