Sengupta ... for the Private Respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that she being a septuagenarian, is unable to enter her property and is being resisted by the respondent no.6 who is a step daughter.

I find that communications started from the year 2022. Almost more than three years have passed since then.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Title suit being TS 589 of 2022 has been disposed of and

another title suit being TS 729 of 2021 is pending and there is a status quo order passed by the learned Civil Judge (Jr.

Divn.) 3rd Addl. Court, Alipore.

Learned advocate for the respondents disputes and denies the contention advanced by the petitioner.

Having regard to the nature of the prayer canvassed in the writ petition, I am of the opinion that the petitioner would, if so advised, approach the jurisdictional forum under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The police authorities would only act if any appropriate fourm and/or court passes specific directions to act in a particular manner.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14080 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with

the record. Copies of the report be handed over to both the parties.
