1. This PIL was filed in the year 2022 with following relief.

2. Along with writ petition a notice issued by CID, West Bengal dated 28.8.2021 was annexed.

3. Thereafter the petitioner preferred a representation dated 13.06.2022.

4. Much water has flown in the rivers after the said notice was issued.

5. This is trite that it is not sufficient to only pray that a free, fair and independent investigation be ordered. Unless a prima facie material is shown that the investigation which is being conducted is not free, fair or transparent, no interference is warranted.

6. Apart from preferring a representation, there is not iota of material before us to show that the investigation was polluted/tainted.

7. Thus, in view of the time lag and in absence of material, we find no reason to entertain this PIL.

8. The admission is declined.

9. Accordingly, this PIL is dismissed.
