Pursuant to the order dated 26th August, 2022, the alleged contemnor, Mr. Amiya Kumar Ghosh, is present in Court. His personal appearance is dispensed with.

It is submitted that since after the notice of the contempt application, police picket has been posted. It is further submitted that the bill of costs of police protection shall be raised on the petitioner, who shall pay the same immediately.

Raidighi Police Station shall be entitled to submit a report before the Civil Court as regards the implementation of the order of injunction and further need for any police picket at all.

This Court is of the view that police picket shall abide by any order that may be passed by the Civil

Court. The learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) 1st Court, Diamond Harbour shall receive a report from the police and consider the issue of further deployment of picket within a period of 15 days from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant contempt application shall stand disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There will be no order as to costs.
