The petitioner was running a license of MR dealership as well as S.K. oil dealership under the Sub-divisional Controller, Food and Supplies, Rampurhat, Birbhum. He is aggrieved with the order of suspension of the licenses issued by the Subdivisional Controller on March 28, 2024, by issuing two separate Memoes.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the concerned Sub-divisional Controller has acted arbitrarily.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State authority fairly submits that the licenses of the petitioner which were suspended, has already been reinstated by two separate orders of the Sub-divisional Controller concerned dated June 19, 2025. He placed a copy of those orders.

Let the two memos issued by the Sub-divisional Controller concerned in respect of reinstatement of the licenses of the petitioner is taken on record. As the license has already been reinstated, there remains nothing to decide in the writ petition. Accordingly, the instant writ petition being WPA 14002 of 2025 is disposed of directing the concerned authority to act upon the order of reinstatement and allowed the petitioner to distribute the MR commodities within a week from the date of communication of this order.

Since no affidavit has been exchanged between the parties, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
