The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, pursuant to an order passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this court, is on interim bail.

Today, a report has been submitted by the Officer-inCharge, Swarupnagar Police Station, Basirhat Police District enclosing the report, which has been obtained from the Electoral Registration Officer. The report reflects that the petitioner's electoral card was issued in the year 2007. Prima facie, it appears that the contentions advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner was justified. Accordingly, the interim order of bail granted earlier, is, hereby confirmed.

Let the report submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Swarupnagar P.S. through the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

The learned jurisdictional court is directed to impose a condition that on and from 20th December, 2021, the petitioner shall meet the Officer-in-Charge, Swarupnagar Police Station once a week until further orders.

The Investigating Officer of the case is present in court today. His personal appearance before this court stands dispensed with.

Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM 6153 of 2021 is, hereby, disposed of.
