The petitioner is one of two accused persons. He renews his prayer for bail which was rejected on merits by a coordinate Bench by an order dated April 19, 2024 passed in CRM (DB) 1225 of 2024.

The petitioner says that he has been framed. The victim girl recorded inconsistent statements. He is in custody for 113 days. Charge sheet has been filed upon completion of investigation. He should be released on bail. We have seen the material on record. Further, a coordinate Bench rejected the petitioner's prayer on merits about two months ago. We are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

We also note that the co-accused person, who is the petitioner's son, is absconding.

The application for bail being CRM (DB) 1749 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
