Case No.225 of 2022 dated 18.10.2022 under Sections 498A/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibitions Act corresponding to G.R. Case No.3432 of 2022.

1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner is stated to be the younger brother-in-law of the deceased who admittedly has committed suicide.

3. Considered the materials placed by the learned counsel for the parties including the statements of the witnesses, charge-sheet is stated to have been filed and other coaccused persons including the husband of the deceased are stated to be released on regular bail in the meantime.

4. Regard being had to such facts and submissions, factum of permanent residence of the petitioner, nature of allegation and completion of investigation, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the CJM Paschim

Bardhaman in G.R. Case No.3432 of 2022 within 15 days from today and in the event of his appearance and application for bail, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.

6. The application being CRM(A) 2445 of 2023 is disposed of.

7. The learned court below is hereby directed to act upon the server copy of this order.
