1. None appears for the appellants.

2. Private respondent No. 1 is represented.

3. Appeal is at the behest of the State and directed against an order dated May 28, 2024 passed in WPA 8017 of 2024.

4. In the writ petition, private respondent sought for a direction for grant of sanction to prosecute public servants in a criminal case.

5. It appears from the records that a criminal case was instituted by the private respondent against police official with regard to an incident occurring at a police station subsequent to arrest of such private respondent. In such police case, the trial Court called upon the authorities to grant sanction for prosecution. Request for sanction is in respect of the criminal case instituted about 11 years ago.

6. Learned Single Judge noticed such facts and directed grant of sanction to prosecute.

7. We find no ground to interfere in the present appeal.

8. MAT/1133/2024 along with connected applications are dismissed without any order as to costs.
