Petitioner is the brother-in-law of the victim-housewife. She committed suicide at the matrimonial home within one year of marriage. There are allegations of torture by the petitioner and other in-laws. In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
