of under Sections 186/188/332/353/379/411/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 21(C)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Act, 1985, pending before the learned Judge, Special Court under the N.D.P.S. Act cum Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that though the date for evidence was fixed on number of occasions, and the learned Judge deferred the hearing of the case repeatedly.

Needless to mention that in this pandemic situation, it is not expected of the learned Judge in the Court below to proceed with the trial at a normal pace.

Keeping in mind the innocuous nature of the prayer, this application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Judge, Special Court under the N.D.P.S. Act cum Additional District Judge, 2nd Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad, to ensure that the evidence is recorded, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The revisional application being C.R.R. 1870 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
