Pranabesh Dutta v. State Of West Bengal 7 ANR
12.07.2022 Item no.10.
Court No.6.
AB CRR No. 1479 of 2013 In the matter of : Pranabesh Dutta ......Petitioner.
None appears either on behalf of the petitioner or the opposite parties today. It appears from record that on previous several occasions also, neither of the parties was present in Court.
Considering the above, record is taken up for delivering order.
The revisional application is preferred by the petitioner for quashing of the proceedings in G. R. Case No. 689 of 2010 pending in the Court of ACJM, Contai, which arose in connection with Contai P.S. Case No.172 of 2010 dated 23.8.2010 under Sections 363/366/120B of the IPC. The petitioner, who is one of the accused persons in the said police case, is aggrieved by the order of the learned Trial Court not to handover the minor son of the petitioner to his custody. The fact remains that the first information report lodged by one Swapan Kr. Panda discloses allegations of elopement of his daughter with the son of the petitioner, who is the other accused person in the case.
Be that as it may, on perusal of the grounds as relied on by the petitioner, the same are not found to be sufficient enough to warrant this Court's interference into the impugned order and all proceedings.
On the grounds as stated above, the instant revisional application stands dismissed.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
Urgent Photostat Certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied expeditiously after complying with all necessary legal formalities.
