Mr. Gopal Mondal ....for the petitioners Mr. Satyajit Mondal, Mr. Shouvik Naskar ...for the respondent nos. 8, 13, 15 and 16 The petitioners complain that the private respondents have dispossessed them from certain land and have also sold a portions of the same. They have complained before the Sutahata Police Station, Purba Medinipur, but in vain.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the private respondents and the petitioner is purely civil in nature and appropriate civil proceedings may be taken out by the parties.

The petitioners claim that they have been assaulted by the private respondents. Copies of the injury report is annexed to the writ petition. The Sutahata Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

Investigation into the FIR being No. 373 of 2018 shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and final report be filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of one month from date, if

not already done. Prior intimation may be given to the counsel for the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
