Sujauddin ... for the KMC The prayer portion of the writ petition and the documents annexed to the writ petition do not match with the representation made by the petitioners on 29th June, 2022 where the petitioners have asked the authorities for cancellation of two birth certificates. The petitioners, however, submit that the birth certificates mentioned in the said letter of 29th June, 2022 are required to be corrected since the KMC has issued two birth certificates. Counsel submits that the KMC should be directed not only to act in terms of the representation but also to properly verify such applications filed by different persons.

The KMC is represented.

WPA 14346 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the respondent no. 1 being the Kolkata Municipal

Corporation, Health Department, to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 29th June, 2022 and dispose of the same, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision should be communicated to the petitioners within a week from the date of taking such decision. ( Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
