Ahmed Begg .....for the State This is an application seeking an expeditious disposal of a proceeding in which a charge-sheet was submitted under Sections 323, 341, 448,506 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code.

Let a copy of this application be served upon Mr. Arijit Ganguly and Mr. M.F. Ahmed Begg, learned counsels, who are present in court today and who ordinarily appear on behalf of the State. Their engagement may be regularised in due course by the competent authority of the State.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The FIR was lodged against the petitioners on 21.01.2018. Subsequently, the de facto complainant passed away. A charge sheet was submitted on 22.01.2018. The petitioners were granted bail in 2018 itself. Yet, charges have not been framed till date. The matter has remained pending for no fault of the present petitioners. The petitioner no. 1 has received an offer of a job from the Tata Consultency Services. The

pendency of the present proceeding is coming in the way of him availing such job.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that no inordinate delay has been taken place in the present proceeding.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the State and have perused the revision petition. It does not appear that any inordinate delay has been taken place in concluding the proceeding. However, it is expected that the learned trial court would conclude the proceeding at the earliest without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
