The petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Keshpur Girls' High School (H.S.), District: Paschim Medinipur. On superannuation, she has retired from her said service on March 31, 2023.

The petitioner is complaining delay in disbursement of her retiral benefits.

In view of such complaint of the petitioner, the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), District:

Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no.3 herein was directed to file a report.

Such report is filed wherein it has been observed that the e-Pension application of the petitioner has been objected by the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, the respondent no.4 herein, for want of relevant papers/documents, the said respondent has directed the School Authority to take steps, let the said report be kept with the record.

Mr. Mitra, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the said direction of the respondent no. 4, the President of the Managing Committee of the school, by a letter dated July 25, 2023 has asked the petitioner to submit the wanting papers/ documents which the petitioner shall comply within a week.

The school authority, within a week from the date of receipt of such papers/documents from the petitioner, shall send the pension papers of the petitioner to the respondent no.3 and the said respondent, in turn shall forward the same to the respondent no.4 for issuance of pension payment order to the petitioner in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 14207 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
