08.07.2022 sdas CRM (DB) No. 2179 of 2022 In Re : An application for cancellation of bail under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

And In Re : Ranajay Sasmal ..... petitioner Mr. Subrata Karmakar ..... for the petitioner Petitioner assails order dated 15.12.2020 granting bail to the opposite parties no. 2 to 8.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the opposite parties no. 2 to 8 have subsequently committed similar offences and criminal cases have been registered against them. But they have not been arrested in those cases.

We have considered materials on record. Opposite parties no. 2 to 8 appear to have complied with notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Considering such fact and nature of allegations court below was pleased to enlarge them on bail. We do not find any reason to interfere with the bail granted by the court below to opposite parties no. 2 to 8. With regard to their involvement in other criminal cases, it is open to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law, if so advised.

This application for cancellation of bail is, thus, disposed of.
