1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2) Petitioners being Assistant Teachers made online applications seeking mutual transfer in the month of January, 2025. Grievance of the petitioners is that till date concerned respondent authority has not taken decision on mutual transfer applications of the petitioners.

3) State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission (for short, "Commission") are represented by learned advocates.

4) It is submitted on behalf of the respondents that designated portal for mutual

transfer is operational at present, therefore, issue needs to be decided by the concerned authority of the Commission.

5) Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, writ petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman of the Commission being respondent no. 4 to decide mutual transfer applications of the petitioners in accordance with law by six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The decision to be taken by respondent no. 4 shall be communicated to the petitioners by fortnight thereafter.

6) There shall be no order as to costs.

7) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
