Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya ...for the WBBSE This is a writ petition wherein the petitioner has prayed for joining the post of non-teaching staff in a Government aided recognized school on the basis of the appointment letter dated 20th March, 2020 issued by the President, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Mr. Chittapriya Ghosh, learned advocate appears on behalf of the writ petitioner and submits that during pendency of this writ petition, the school authority of Arisand Swami S. N. Vidyapith, District- Purba Medinipur has informed the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, vide letter

dated 22nd September, 2021 that the post where the writ petitioner has been appointed vide appointment letter dated 20th March, 2020 has already been filled up. In view of joining of another candidate in the same post where the writ petitioner has prayed for his joining, the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petitioner prays for withdrawal of the same.

Considering the prayer made on behalf of the writ petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed. However, the writ petitioner shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if so advised.

The letter dated 22nd September, 2021 is kept with the record.
