Let a copy of the writ petition be served upon Mr. Soumyajit Bhatta, learned advocate appearing for Panihati Municipality.

Learned advocate appearing for respondent nos.6 and 7 has rightly pointed out that the writ petitioners on an earlier occasion filed WPA 28540 of 2023 with identical prayers. The said writ petition was allowed in absence of respondent nos.7 and 8 in that writ petition who are respondent nos.6 and 7 in this writ petition. The said writ petition was disposed of on July 9, 2024, by a Coordinate Bench of this Court.

Respondent nos.7 and 8 in WPA 28540 of 2023 preferred MAT 1528 of 2024 against the said order dated July 9, 2024. The appeal was allowed.

In view of the aforesaid, this present writ petition, in my view, is not maintainable.

Accordingly, WPA 15239 of 2024 is dismissed.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
