Versus

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. S.P. Lahiri, Sk. Nizamuddin, Mr. Rajesh Naskar ...for the Petitioner.

Mr. Subhabrata Datta, Mr. Sanatan Panja ...for the State-respondents.

Mr. Nilanjan Adhikari ...for the Respondent Nos.6, 8 & 9.

Affidavit-of-service is taken on record.

The grievance of the petitioner has been addressed. There appears to be a long standing dispute with regard to the ownership and possession of the alleged undivided property. Several prosecutions under Sections 107 and 116(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure were submitted against the respondent Nos.6 to 9, on the complaint of the petitioner.

The final dispute arose on March 3, 2022 with regard to a fencing work. On the complaint of the petitioner, Jagatballavpur Police Station Case No.145 of 2022 dated July 11, 2022 under Sections 341/325/307/506/34

of the Indian Penal Code has been registered. Investigation is going on.

The police authorities shall complete the investigation, take necessary steps in accordance with law, keep a vigil and ensure that peace and tranquillity is maintained.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
