The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that although Bowbazar PS Case No.

of dated 14.12.2022 was registered for investigation, but, till date, the investigation could not be taken to its logical conclusion.

State has submitted a report which is dated 27.08.2024 wherefrom it reflects that the investigation was still in progress.

Having considered that the case

was registered in the year 2022 and more than two and half years have passed in the meantime, in case, till date, the investigating agency did not submit the report under section 173 of the Cr.P.C., the police authorities would submit such report within a period of three months.

In the alternative, in case, chargesheet and/or Final Report has been submitted, the petitioner/defacto-complainant be informed so that steps can be taken by the petitioner/defacto-complainant in accordance with the provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15343 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
