The petitioner renews his prayer for bail. His prayer was rejected firstly on January 2, 2024 in CRM (NDPS) 2071 of 2023 and secondly on March 13, 2024 in CRM (NDPS) 489 of 2024. We see no change of circumstance.

Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (NDPS) 914 of 2024 is dismissed.

However, considering that the petitioner is in custody for about one year and two months, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion at the earliest and preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order to the learned Trial Court.
