Ms. Anasuya Sinha, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report enclosing the declaration and statement made by the de facto complainant/opposite party no. 2 namely, Priyanka Ganjan nee Guha.

On perusal of the statement and declaration, it reveals that the opposite party no. 2 is not interested to withdraw the case against the five petitioners mentioned herein.

In view of the aforesaid, the joint compromise petition so filed do not survive with any force. The learned trial court accordingly will proceed with the case on merits on the next date so fixed. The application for compromise being CRAN 1 of 2023 is dismissed.

As it has been directed the learned trial court will proceed. CRR

1878 of 2021 is disposed of.
