1. The revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No. 2173 of 2021 pending before the learned 3rd Additional District Judge at Barasat, North-24 Parganas.

2.Considering the nature of relief prayed for, service in the present case is dispensed with.

3.Though the matrimonial suit is of the year 2021. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that initially the matrimonial suit praying for decree of divorce was initiated in the year 2020 at Siliguri. Subsequently, the case was transferred to Barasat and since 2021 is pending at the stage of framing of issues.

5. It appears that vide an order dated 27.3.2023 a Co-ordinate

Bench of this Court had directed expeditious disposal but had not specified any time frame and as such the matter is pending disposal till date.

6. Considering the said facts on record, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the trial Court being the Court of learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Barasat shall make all endeavour to dispose of the matrimonial suit on hearing the parties in accordance with law preferably within a period of one year from the date of this order.

7.CO of accordingly disposed of.

8. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given the learned counsel for the parties on usual undertakings.
