The writ petition was filed during the COVID period when the Civil Court was not functioning. The petitioner has since moved the Civil Court being Title Suit No. 306 of 2019 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) 3rd Court at Sealdah and Misc. Appeal No. 32 of 2021 and by an order dated 31st May, 2022 obtained an injunction against the respondents. Counsel for the respondents, namely, West Bengal State Industrial Development Corporation Limited submits that the land in dispute is required for the benefit of the State's Development.

The respondents may take steps in accordance with law and in the pending civil proceedings. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
