For the Opposite Party no. 2 By an order passed on 12th March, 2024, this Court called upon both the parties to take instruction whether a fixed deposit of a sum of Rs. 6 lakhs made by the private opposite party in the name of the son would suffice for the time being till maintenance proceedings are concluded. Learned counsels for both the parties submit that the parties are agreeable to such proposal.

In view of the above, the 2nd opposite party is directed to deposit Rs. 6 lakhs in a fixed deposit account opened in the name of the son of the parties within two weeks from date. The said amount shall be encashed for the limited purpose of the course-fees of the son.

Since nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present application the application being CRR 2198 of 2023 is disposed of.

Consequently CRAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
