Mondal ...for the State The prosecution case is that 108.215 kg Ganja was recovered from the vehicle which is owned by the present petitioner and was also driving by him.

The petitioner's counsel submits that petitioner is in custody for about 316 days and the prosecution could not examine a single witness till date and as such there is no certainty as to when the trial would be concluded. Considering his period of detention he may be released on bail on any terms and conditions.

and the next date for examination of prosecution witness has been schedule on 25th September, 2025. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the State, and that the material discloses that the rigour of Section 37 of the NDPS Act clearly attracts in respect of the present petitioner his prayer for bail is considered and rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 784 of 2025 is disposed of.
