Mr. Nilanjan Adhikari ....for the petitioner Mr. Jishnu Chowdhury, Mr. Raja Saha, Mrs. Amrita Panja Moulick .....for the State Mr. Kunal Ganguly ...for the respondent nos. 12, 13 and 14 The petitioner complains that he is being prevented from attending his duties as an operator of a pump station under the control of the Public Health Engineering Department, Bolpur. The allegation is directed against the private respondents, who happens to be his cousin sister. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner or his father were never the employees of the PHE and may have been engaged casually by a contractor.

This Court notes that the dispute between the private respondents and the petitioner are purely civil in nature and the police have no role to play in this matter.

In view of the above, WPA 14928 of 2021 shall stand dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
