It is submitted on behalf of the private opposite party and also transpires from the statement of the private opposite party made before the Inspector-in-charge, Shibpur Police Station, Howrah that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the private opposite party/de facto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that proceeding of the present matter further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 2294 of 2024 is allowed.

GR Case no. 2158 of 2010 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Municipal Court, Howrah be quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and be discharged from his bail bond.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly uploaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
