1. Let affidavit of service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. In spite of service, none appears for the State nor has any report been filed by the State in terms of the order dated July 8, 2025.

2. The petitioner's grievance is that the application for transfer dated May 17, 2025, has not been considered.

3. The petitioner is presently employed as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy (SACT) in the Sitalkuchi College.

The said College is approximately 430 kms. from her place of residence and she has two minor children to maintain. She is seeking transfer to an institution closer to her place of residence.

4. Mr. Maity, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 4, submits that the college has no objection to allow the transfer of the petitioner

and has already issued the necessary <No Objection= Certificate.

5. Respondent no.2 is directed to consider the representation dated May 17, 2025, and dispose of such application by February 28, 2026.

6. With the aforestated observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
