Petitioner approached this Court at a stage when 19.03.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.107 Rakib the grievance of the petitioner addressed to the Officer-inCharge, Haripal Police Station dated 10.04.2024 was not responded. Subsequently, it has been informed by the petitioner that Haripal Police Station case no. 389/2024 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner presently alleges that the private respondents are so desperate that they are still trying to encroach upon the property of the petitioner.

Since the criminal case has already been registered, if there is a threat to life of the petitioner, petitioner would approach the learned Magistrate under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018. Learned Magistrate will call for a Threat Perception Report and thereafter pass necessary direction under the Scheme.

So far as the property of the petitioner is concerned, in case the respondent no.7 attempts to take law in his own hands with a view to encroach upon the

property, the police authorities would ensure that no untoward incident results because of such aggressive behaviour and/or adamant attitude of respondent no.7. With the aforesaid observations WPA 15308 of 2024 is disposed of.
