The petitioner is aggrieved by the amount of compensation assessed by the State respondents in lieu of acquiring her land. The petitioner filed an objection to that effect on 23rd August, 2021 under the National Highways Act, 1956 before the learned District Magistrate and Collector, but the said objection has not yet been considered by the authority. The petitioner prays for disposal of the said objection at the earliest.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties as well as the material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to consider and dispose of the objection filed by the petitioner on 23rd August, 2021, within a period of three months from the date of

communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. With such observation, WPA 14978 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavits are invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
