For the Petitioners Mr. Soumitra Bandyopadhyay Ms. Suchana Banerjee .... For the State The petitioner No. 1 prayed for issuance of land loser certificate in his favour by the concerned authority. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that during pendency of the writ petition the prayer of the petitioner No. 1 was considered and turned down by the authority on the ground that the petitioner No. 1 being the grand son of the land loser (the petitioner No. 2 herein) is not eligible for enrolment under the Exempted Category as land loser. The petitioners seek to challenge the said order, in accordance with law. In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
