Affidavit-of-service filed today in court is taken on record. 2.

The writ petitioner's grievance is that the Original Application filed in 2024 bearing O.A. No. 270 of 2024 before the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal (in short 'Tribunal') has not been taken up for consideration on merits. An order dated 16.01.2025 has been annexed with the writ petition from which it appears that the writ petitioner wanted the matter to be heard by a Bench of two members. There being no second member available in the Tribunal, the matter was adjourned on 16.01.2025.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that if the writ petitioner is granted liberty, he would approach the Tribunal with a request by way of an application for consideration of the matter by a Single Bench. With such liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.

In the event, such application is filed, it is needless to mention that the Tribunal is expected to proceed and dispose of the same expeditiously without any unnecessary delay or undue adjournment.
